Teacher’s Day Celebration


Teacher’s Day was celebrated on 10 September, 2018 with full zeal and enthusiasm in the Department of Computer Science & Engineering.

The program started at 1:30 PM in the afternoon. The celebration was held in CSE seminar Hall. It was an auspicious day for students, to celebrate Teachers’ Day which marks the birth of the great teacher Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan.

The Chief Guest for the programme was Hon’ble Mrs. Rizwana Begum madam, Secretary of this institute. The Program started with Welcome speech by student Coordinator, addressing the important role of teachers in student’s life.

The programme was followed by speeches given by all dignitaries present in the event and by students.

Hon’ble Mrs. Rizwana Begum madam delivered speech in which she talked about the importance and essence of teacher’s day and shared her school life. Subsequently Dr. S. Altaf Hussain, Principal sir spoke his views about teacher’s day and he also talked about how to respect a teacher with examples. Than Dr.T.K. Shaik Shavali, Head of the Department expressed his views on this occasion and put more emphasis on moral and ethical values, which he expected the students to follow. Last but not the least, Mrs.Syeda Nusrath Fatima, Arts, Cultural central coordinator she expressed her gratitude towards all teachers she had come across and she made the environment so emotional that shows how teachers play a vital role in the success of students.

In the similar way students from different years conveyed their perspective on this event and they were thankful to all teachers for their support and guidance. It was followed by shayari by one of the students.
Followed by this there was cake cutting ceremony. Hon’ble Mrs. Rizwana Begum madam and Dr. S. Altaf Hussain sir, cut the cake in presence of staff and students. After this, students have arranged few games for teachers and students presented gifts to teachers as a token of respect.

It concluded with a ‚Äėthank you note‚Äô delivered by a student representative, marking the importance of teachers.
