Description about the event (50 Words): Lords MBA Students Gain Insight at Indian School of Business On May 23rd, 2023, Lords MBA students had the privilege of visiting the prestigious Indian School of Business (ISB), globally recognized as one of the top-ranked business schools and India’s number one. This educational tour offered a remarkable opportunity for Lords students to experience firsthand the academic excellence and innovative practices that have established ISB as a leader in business education.During the visit, students were introduced to the current batch demographics, showcasing a diverse and balanced cohort with 47% female and 53% male students. A highlight of the day was an engaging Q&A session that underscored the importance of case study methodology and outcome-based education, alongside ISB’s stringent honor code in examinations.The session also shed light on the entrepreneurial success of ISB alumni, with 12 Indian and global unicorns credited to their graduates, emphasizing the school’s outstanding contribution to entrepreneurship.Following the orientation and a tour of the extensive library, students enjoyed refreshments, tea, and coffee, providing an opportunity for self-reflection and a deeper appreciation for raising the bar of excellence in their own academic and professional pursuits.Additionally, the students gained valuable insights into the process of availing scholarships and preparing for GMAT/GRE entrance exams, essential steps for planning postgraduate certification programs at ISB.In a gesture of gratitude, the Lords team presented mementos to the ISB Educational Tour organizers, expressing their heartfelt thanks and extending an invitation for the ISB team to visit the Lords Campus.This enlightening experience has undoubtedly inspired Lord’s MBA students to strive for excellence and consider the possibilities of advanced studies at ISB, setting a higher benchmark for their future endeavors.
